Cheryl Cole's pastor shares details of her surprise beach wedding

The man who officiated at Cheryl Cole's wedding to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has spoken out about their beautiful beach ceremony in Mustique – and has admitted he had no idea who the star was. "They seemed very in love, the atmosphere was incredibly captivating – even if I didn't know who she was," Pastor Devon R Ollivierre told the Mirror.

Speaking from his home on the neighbouring Caribbean island of Bequia, the Baptist leader revealed that the bride was wearing a white dress with a train, while her husband was dressed in black trousers and a white shirt. "They looked incredible. It seemed intense," he said. "There were no tears and they didn't seem nervous, it was very natural. "With the way they were dressed, the white sand and the way they were speaking to each other, it was lovely. "Despite being done on the open beach, it was very private. The beauty of it was that the sun was going down and the light was lovely."

Pastor Ollivierre revealed that the ceremony lasted 30 minutes – "The vows were short and at the end of the ceremony they kissed, there was a lot of passion" – and at the end of the service, he blessed the bride and groom by touching their foreheads and praying. "I am not concerned about people being famous or not," he said. "I am just concerned about people being married and staying together. I love to know the weddings I do are for that. It was a very special day." Cheryl, 31, shocked fans when she announced that she and Jean-Bernard had married in secret. Posting a picture of her engagement ring and wedding band, she wrote, "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14…"

Reports are swirling that the singer could have another surprise announcement to make - after claims that Cheryl is pregnant with her first baby. Fitness trainer Curtis Brown, a friend of Cheryl's husband Jean-Bernard, appeared to give the game away during a recently recorded interview.

"Don't get mad at me, but your baby momma is hot," Curtis said. "She's very gorgeous. She is a great singer. She's awesome."

He added, "The last time I spoke to him, he was like, 'I've got a girl. She's awesome.' Just bigged her up like she was the Queen of England. Then I found out who she was and I was like, 'Oh now, that's a keeper'." It comes shortly after Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle tweeted her congratulations to the star on her marriage – and urged her to start a family. "Awww @CherylOfficial you must be having an amazing time. I am so happy for you! Good luck with everything. Come join the baby club. Best ever."
