Naya Rivera has married actor Ryan Dorsey just three months after splitting from her rapper fiancé Big Sean. The Glee actress' nuptials in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico took place in front of close family on 19 July, despite her plans to tie the knot with her former musician beau only ending in April.
Glee's Naya Rivera has surprisingly married
"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the newlyweds told People magazine in a statement. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for." The 27-year-old wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, similar to the custom-made Givenchy Haute Couture dress that Riccardo Tisci created for Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West. Naya also left her hair down in loose curls. Naya's new spouse donned a Dolce & Gabbana suit as he watched his bride carry a bouquet of daisies and baby's breath down the aisle before they exchanged Neil Lane rings.
Naya Rivera was engaged to Big Sean for six months until April
"True love always prevails," they added to the American magazine. In images obtained by the publication the groom can be seen kissing the bride as he carries her along the sandy beach.
Despite their romantic relationship being relatively new, the duo have known each other for four years. Ryan hails from Charleston, West Virginia and attended the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts before moving to Los Angeles, where he met Naya. Just six months after Naya had confirmed her engagement to Big Sean in October, he decided to call the wedding off.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his representative confirmed to US media at the time, before denying reports that any third party was involved in the split. "The recent rumours and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply not true. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
