Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are officially husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in front of friends and family on Sunday afternoon, in a Bohemian-style ceremony held at mother of the groom Diana Ross' estate in Connecticut.
Ashlee was walked down an aisle lit by white lanterns by her son Bronx, while her big sister Jessica Simpson served as her maid of honour. Jessica's children, Maxwell, two, and Ace, 14-months, acted as flower girl and ring bearer. The happy couple were married in a short and intimate ceremony officiated by Diana. The Supremes singer later wowed the guests by performing two songs, Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Lovely Day, during the recessional, E! Online reports.

A choir sang Stevie Wonder's track You and I as Ashlee and Evan exchanged vows, and for their first dance as husband and wife, the couple chose the singer's 1985 track, Overjoyed. At the reception, invitees were served up a salad starter made up of cheeses, prosciutto, grilled vegetable, garlic croutons and baby arugula. According to the website, they were then presented with a buffet-style main that featured sliced beef fillet, baked butternut squash polenta with smoked gouda, Southern-style fried chicken, mac n' cheese, roasted cauliflower salad and chanterelle mushrooms.

Ashlee, 29, and Evan, 26 announced their engagement in January via Twitter. "The love of my life said YES!!!!!" wrote Evan, with Ashlee adding, "My baby love and I are ENGAGED!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!" The couple then celebrated their impending nuptials with several celebrations, including a lavish engagement party, and a bridal shower earlier this month at sister Jessica’s LA home. Ashlee, who was previously married to Pete Wentz, was first linked to Hunger Games: Mockingjay star Evan in July of last year.
