Lauren Conrad reveals why she picked Badgley Mischka to design her wedding gown

Lauren Conrad married her partner, William Tell, in a gorgeous Californian wedding on Saturday, and has now revealed her wedding gown designers.The couture dress was designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka, who described the gown as "simple and classic yet glamorous". Covered in lace, the dress came with a long train, while Lauren accessorised with a gorgeous gold leaf barrette.Lauren and William, a former musician-turned-lawyer married in a romantic ceremony in Santa Ynez, California on Saturday 13 September in the presence of their nearest and dearest.

In a statement, Lauren revealed: "I was so thrilled to have Mark and James work on my dress." "Not only have I been a long-time fan of their designs and aesthetic, they are also the nicest guys. They were so sweet and made the process really enjoyable. I love my dress."

Mark and James added: "We were delighted when Lauren asked if we would design her wedding gown. Lauren embodies a young, modern, and sophisticated style that is the type of woman we love to design for."

The former The Hills star has previously revealed that she would be having nine bridesmaids on the day, including her best friend and Paper Crown co-founder Maura McManus and her former co-star Lo Bosworth. Lauren, 28, dressed the group in designs from her and Maura's bridesmaids collection, giving them the choice of picking gowns from two colours.

She also provided little gift bags on the day with pale pink and nude nail polish. The Laguna Beach girl had been teasing fans in the lead up to her wedding, by posting beautiful photos on Instagram from her bridal shower and bachelorette party.
