October 13, 2014

Luisa Zissman is one lucky lady. The former Apprentice runner-up, who got engaged to her businessman fiancé in Paris on Friday, was presented with an exquisite diamond ring that experts estimate to be worth £1.5million. Luisa posted a couple of close-up photos of her Ashoka cut sparkler, both in the box and on her finger, made by British jewellers Boodles.

"The Ashoka cut is synonymous with Boodles and a very rare cut indeed," said fine diamond jewellery expert Lewis Malka. "In reality, it's a modified emerald cut diamond with facets designed by Boodles themselves. "Weighing in at a hefty eight carats, and at a very high spec colour and clarity, I would estimate this stunning ring to be worth £1.5million. The highlight for me is the split claws on the band. "This maximises the light available to the diamond and shows off the incredible fire you would expect from a diamond of this standard. A beautiful piece of jewellery."

While Luisa has kept mum about her businessman fiancé – only previously saying that she was "very happy" and "in a very lovely relationship" – the 27-year-old has been taking to Twitter to reveal some of her exciting wedding plans. Luisa's four-year-old daughter Dixie from her previous marriage to entrepreneur Oliver Zissman will play a starring role in the ceremony. "Home from an amazing trip to Paris! Lovely to see my mini princess & tell her about her impending flower girl duties....," she wrote. The bride-to-be has also started work on her wedding diet and exercise regime, as she posted photos of herself working up a sweat at the gym and sauna.

Tweeting that she felt like the luckiest girl in the world, Luisa announced her big news on Friday evening. The following day she shared another glimpse into her French proposal, which looks to have happened on a terrace filled with white flowers against a backdrop of the iconic Eiffel Tower. "The morning after the night before, on cloud 9.... Now how do I take all these flowers home on the Eurostar?!" she captioned it.
