Former Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt has married his fiancée, Good Morning Britain news correspondent Katy Fawcett. The 35-year-old took to Twitter to share his joy following the Christmas wedding ceremony at the weekend, telling his followers, "I am complete.".Earlier in the day, he had sent a message to his bride-to-be. "Happiest day of my life @KatyFawITV," he wrote. "…can't wait to see you."
On Monday morning, the happy newlyweds jetted out to Thailand for the honeymoon – their first holiday as husband and wife. Katy, clearly over the moon with her new marital status, has already changed her name on Twitter to Katy Rickitt.Adam - who appeared on The Big Reunion as a member of boyband 5th Story earlier this year - recently spoke about how meeting Katy had changed his life.

"Meeting Katy made me realise I've never been truly happy before," he said. "Before her I was only ever wasting time trying to make others happy. "I was sent to boarding school at seven and was determined to please people, so I made the first rugby team and got straight As. Even on Corrie, it was about keeping the people at ITV happy. "I said yes to all the topless shoots, TV appearances and interviews because I wanted to please people. But I was completely miserable."
