He announced his engagement with a newspaper advertisement in November, but The Imitation Game star Benedict Cumberbatch has revealed that he hasn't yet started planning his nuptials with his fiancée Sophie Hunter. The 38-year-old, who has been nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, said that wedding planning is on hold for now, telling reporters: "One thing at a time!"Benedict was talking at the 26th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday, when he spoke about his plans for 2015, including filming the new series of Sherlock.

"My main focus is going to be on that, and then [awards season] is just sort of a wonderful burst of manic crazy fresh air in the midst of it all," he said. The British actor went on to reveal that while he finds his recent industry acclaim "very flattering", he's taking it all in his stride. "I'm geared up to have some fun!" he said. "Any amount of award buzz or attention the film gets means that the people will engage with the story, so it means a lot for me."

Benedict was joined by his theatre director fiancée at the film festival. The couple, who aren't often seen together in public, looked content as they smiled together for photos. Benedict and Sophie broke the news of their engagement with an announcement from his parents in the Forthcoming Marriages section of The Times. The couple are believed to have been dating since June, however their friendship dates back to 2009 when they appeared in the film Burlesque Fairytales.
