Jenny McCarthy may have married her husband Donnie Wahlberg last August, but fans have only just been given a glimpse into their summer nuptials. In the premiere episode of their new reality TV show, which started on Wednesday, Jenny and Donnie were filmed celebrating their wedding. One of the most highly anticipated moments was the unveiling of Jenny's wedding dress, and the 42-year-old model certainly lived up to expectations. Making her grand entrance in a strapless ball gown, Jenny channelled a princess bride to perfection. The blonde beauty ensured that all eyes were on her as she sashayed down the aisle in her glamorous gown, which featured delicate floral detailing on the skirt and a lengthy train.

Donnie's leading lady had her blonde locks styled into loose curls, and had her nails painted red to match her bouquet of roses. In the first episode of their show Donnie Loves Jenny, viewers were able to see the pair's first moments together as a married couple. At their reception, which was held at the historic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois – not far from the bride's hometown of Chicago – Jenny paid tribute to her new husband. "As a little girl, you dream of Prince Charming, and you always get disappointed because no one meets the expectations," said Jenny. "[Donnie] has surpassed it by far."

"He has been so kind and open to Evan and so wonderful," she added, referring to her 12-year-old son. "I knew the day that I wanted to spend as long as possible with Donnie was when I introduced him to Evan but then I got the amazing opportunity to meet his kids who I adore." Donnie, 45, has two sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 13 – who Jenny described as "two beautiful boys"."I am honoured to be your wife baby," she said as she closed her toast. Donnie and Jenny were first romantically linked in July 2013, and nine months later announced their engagement on live television. The lovebirds tied the knot on 31 August last year in an intimate ceremony.
