Andy Murray and Kim Sears have chosen a venue close to their hearts as the location for their forthcoming wedding. The couple, who have reportedly decided upon Saturday 11 April as the date for their nuptials, will tie the knot at the luxury hotel owned by the Wimbledon champion, which also hosted his brother Jamie Murray's wedding in 2010. Cromlix House Hotel, which Andy bought for £1.8million in February 2013, is located in the Scottish town of Dunblane where Andy, 27, and Jamie, 28, grew up.

Tennis player Jamie tied the knot with Alejandra Gutierrez at the Victorian mansion five years ago, with his younger brother Andy acting as best man. The five-star hotel, which sits amid beautiful gardens and tennis courts, now boasts 10 bedrooms, five luxury suites and its own chapel. French chef Albert Roux, whose son is Michel Roux Jr, overseas the hotel's restaurant and has personally selected much of the wine list. In 2014, following Andy's renovation work, Cromlix House was named Scottish Hotel of the Year.

After nine years of dating Kim and Andy announced their engagement in November 2014. "I'm so happy that Andy has got engaged," said the tennis pro's proud mum Judy Murray after the news was announced. "It was very exciting when it happened. I'm thrilled to bits about the engagement."

Since then the duo have been frequently questioned about plans for their big day. Following a victorious game at the Australian Open in January, an interviewer asked Andy: "So morning suit or kilt?", prompting Kim to giggle from her seat in the audience. "I think I'm going to have both options and see what I feel like in the morning when I wake up," responded the embarrassed sportsman.
