Gogglebox favourite Sandra Martin, who proposed to her boyfriend, Derek on New Year's Eve has revealed that the pair plan to marry in Las Vegas. The 53-year-old star of Channel4's hit entertainment programme, revealed on Wednesday: "Derek is so shy I'll have to help him down the aisle."
"I would like a big white dress and big white wedding, but Derek wouldn't want crowds, so we'd love to go to Las Vegas, just the two of us, and have Elvis marry us. It could just be us having a laugh."
Sandra then admitted that a fellow Channel4 show had inspired the pair, telling The Sun newspaper: "I saw The Undateables the other night and they had their wedding there."
Sandra, along with her co-star Sandy Channer, provide commentary on the week's most watched TV programmes for the Friday night show, and have done since 2013.
The popular pair have been friends four over 40 years, and Sandy revealed that she will be maid-of-honour for her best friend.
"I'm maid of honour and I've got my hat already", she said, before adding that they hoped Simon Cowell would join them - "The hen do has got to be strippers. It will be in London and it's going to be off the hook. Mad tings. I'm going to dress her up in a veil and an 'L' sign and I'm going to handcuff her to a blow-up doll of Simon Cowell."

Sandy, 47, added: "I just want to say thank you to the fans. This is for you guys - if you wasn't watching, we wouldn't be up here."
