Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are ready to take their romance to the next level. The 21-year-old actress has been seen flashing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger, sparking reports that she is now engaged to her actor boyfriend. Shia, 28, and model Mia started dating in 2013, after meeting on the set of the controversial movie Nymphomaniac.
Shia LaBeouf's girlfriend Mia Goth was seen wearing a diamond ring at LAX
Makeup-free Mia made no attempt to hide her new accessory as she arrived at LAX on Monday, holding her hand up to her face as she waited in line, giving onlookers a clear glimpse of the glittering diamond ring.
Jewellery expert Lewis Malka gave an insight to HELLO! Online, saying: "At first glance it seems Mia Goth has a rather large sparkler! A solitaire round diamond engagement ring with an estimated three-carat diamond, this could be worth as much as £150,000 and proves that traditional settings are still a popular choice for engagement rings." Just a few days earlier, Mia's sparkling band was in place as she and Shia headed out to a shopping centre in LA together. The couple were inseparable on their outing, looking very much in love as they walked around together hand-in-hand. Mia and Shia are both enjoying some down-time at the moment, having both recently finished filming their new projects. Mia will next be seen on the big screen in the blockbuster Everest – based on the 1996 Mount Everest disaster. The film has a stellar line-up; Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Josh Brolin and Robin Wright all star in the movie, which is set for release in the UK in October.
Nymphomaniac co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have been dating since 2013
Shia, meanwhile, is also in between projects. He recently finished shooting the thriller Man Down, in which he plays a former US Marine named Gabriel Drummer, who is searching for his son Jonathan and wife Natalie in post-apocalyptic America. The war thriller also stars Kate Mara, Gary Oldman and Jai Courtney and is scheduled for release later this year. Mia - who was born in London, but moved straight to Brazil and lived there until she was six-years-old, when she returned do the UK and settled in Lewisham – made her film debut in Nymphomaniac, and immediately caused a stir thanks to the film’s real-life sex scenes. Speaking about her acting ambition ahead of the release of the movie, Mia told I-D magazine, "I want to be a woman who has a little bit more figured out, who doesn't have so many doubts. "…And then I would like to have a whole list of directors I have worked with – Woody Allen, Paul Thomas Anderson… I just want to act. And I want to be good. And I want to be happy, and I think that's it."
