During the seventh season of Stana Katic's hit TV show Castle, the actress's character Kate Beckett wed Nathan Fillion's Richard Castle in a sunset ceremony. Now, 37-year-old Stana has had a romantic wedding of her own, marrying her long-term partner Kris Brkljac in Croatia.
The ceremony took place in a private family monastery in the historic region of the Dalmatian Coast, a narrow region along the coast of Croatia, and the two later shared a sweet black-and-white snap of their wedding bands.

Stana, who was born in Canada but has Serbian and Croatian roots, met Kris many years ago, and it is thought that her new husband is a business efficiency consultant.
The actress first found fame in 2008 when she joined a then-new ABC TV show called Castle. Starring alongside cult actor Nathan Fillion, Stana played an NYPD homicide detective who works with Nathan's Richard Castle, a mystery novelist, to solve crimes around the city.
The overarching focus of the series is the burgeoning romance between Kate and Richard, and Stana and Nathan were often rumoured to be dating in real life - but always denied the romance.

Stana won Best Actress two years in a row at the People's Choice Awards, and in her film career has taken roles in James Bond flick Quantum of Solace and indie pics The Double and Big Sur.#
Stana recently began posting behind-the-scenes snaps on her Instagram feed of filming to celebrate the airing of the final episodes of season seven - and on Twitter appeared to hint to fans that this may be the end of the road for the long-running show.
"Proud of all we've accomplished. Grateful 4 being part of the ride," she wrote in March, in reply to a fan asking how she felt about the end of season seven.
