Sofia Vergara may be getting ready to walk down the aisle, but earlier this week the Modern Family actress played a central part in another wedding, that of her friends Todd and Chi. The star acted as one of the three bridesmaids on the day and happily gave fans a glimpse at her role.
Posting a series of photos on Instagram, Sofia showed just how happy and excited she was for the newlyweds.
In one group snap, the Colombian beauty was pictured standing proudly next to the bride, while her own fiancé Joe Manganiello wrapped a protective arm around her. "@bui0728 wedding!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!" Sofia wrote.

The 42-year-old looked gorgeous in a strapless, floor-length summery yellow bridesmaid dress, which she paired with a bouquet of white roses. Her famous tumbling locks flowed neatly over her shoulders, but Sofia's winning feature was clearly her smile.
Another photo showed the TV host tucking into a piece of wedding cake, which she amusingly captioned: "It's bad luck if you don't eat wedding cake."

It was hard not to notice Sofia's giant engagement ring in the sweet snaps, which Joe presented to her on Christmas Day last year. The Magic Mike XXL star, who had dated Sofia for around six months, popped the question in his fiancée's native Spanish, telling her, "You are my everything."
While Sofia and Joe, 38, are keeping mum on the details of their big day, the bride-to-be has recently dropped hints, suggesting that the wedding could happen any day now.

"It's going to happen soon," the Latina beauty told E! News at the beginning of June. She added that the nuptials were taking place "very far away [in a] very secret place where nobody is going to find us," before joking, "It's on a plane!"
Sofia, who has a 22-year-old son Manolo from a previous relationship, has also spoken about the possibility of having children with Joe. "I tell him if we're going to do this, we have to do it, like, now, because I don't want to be 50 with a baby," she said to Redbook.
