Chloe Jasmine-Whichello and Stevi Ritchie confirmed their romance in December 2014
Stevi and Chloe-Jasmine's engagement news may come as a surprise to fans, who first saw the couple dating at the end of their time on The X Factor, when the Somerset beauty was still in a relationship with ex-boyfriend Craig Wiffen.
At the time Chloe-Jasmine admitted that she had made a mistake, but believed that she and Stevi were meant to be. "I'm not ashamed of what I did," she told MailOnline. "Because I believe it was part of God's divine plan. It probably didn't help that I didn't tell Craig straight away, but I didn't really have a chance to."
The new confirmed their romance in December when they were spotted enjoying loved-up displays in public and attending an X Factor party together.
"I think Stevi should have Simon Cowell as his best man," said the bride-to-be
The news of their engagement has travelled fast and the bride-to-be has already told her former mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who chose Stevi as Simon's wildcard on the show.
"I sent Cheryl a message to thank her for bringing this amazing person into my life," Chloe-Jasmine told The Sun. "She texted back saying congratulations, and she was so happy for us both. I'd definitely invite her to the wedding if she wanted to come."
"And I think Stevi should have Simon Cowell as his best man," she added.
