In the lead-up to her first wedding anniversary with husband Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union has shared some never-before-seen photos from her big day. The actress posted some flawless images of herself on Instagram, perfectly modelling her gorgeous gown.
Gabrielle and Dwyane, a professional basketball player, married on 30 August last year in Miami, Florida as the sun was setting.
The throwback photos showed Gabrielle in her bespoke Dennis Basso wedding dress – a strapless ballgown that featured a sweetheart neckline and an oversized bow on the back.

In one image the 41-year-old bride struck a playful pose as she hiked up her princess-style dress and "raced to the altar". In another, Gabrielle, who famously played a cheerleader in Bring It On, channelled a superhero.

Gabrielle and Dwyane, 33, dated on-off for five years before marrying at the Chateau Artisan castle in Miami, the city where Dwyane, who plays for Miami Heat, is based.
The pair tied the knot in front of the groom's fellow basketball player Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne, Kim Kardashian's good friend Jonathan Cheban and filmmaker Will Packer.
John Legend, who was joined by his wife Chrissy Teigen, performed All Of You, the song he incidentally wrote for his model love.

Over the weekend the two couples enjoyed a double date of dinner, dancing and partying. Gabrielle shared a group photo on Instagram, which she captioned "Big Daddy shenanigans... @dwyanewade @johnlegend @chrissyteigen #CaliLos."
Chrissy, 29, posted the same image, joking alongside it, "then we became band groupies. @gabunion @dwyanewade @johnlegend."

On Sunday Gabrielle and Dwyane will celebrate their first wedding anniversary, and it sounds like the sportsman is planning a very romantic getaway.
"I'm taking her somewhere nice, somewhere neither of us have been," the NBA star told E! News. "And she will not find out until the plane gets up in the air. It'll be pretty special. It's going to be hot."
