Julianne Hough has given the first glimpse at her engagement ring over a week after she announced her engagement to Brooks Laich. Despite attempts from the bride-to-be to conceal the ring during recent public appearances, an Instagram photo shared by her friend Riawna Capri on Wednesday offered fans a sneak peek at the stunning diamond.
The Dancing with the Stars judge showed off her new ring in a selfie taken en-route to see Taylor Swift in concert with a group of friends including Nina Dobrev and Zelda Williams.

While the ladies all donned glitter face paint for their fun night out, it is Julianne's ring which stole the show – a five-carat oval shaped diamond created by Lorraine Schwartz, the jewellery designer who has also created engagement rings for stars including Kim Kardashian.
A source told People that Julianne's ice hockey player boyfriend had been working with Lorraine for months to create the perfect engagement ring ahead of his proposal.

"Brooks called Lorraine because he wanted to find the most perfect diamond that was truly beautiful and shined so bright – just like Julianne," the source said. "Brooks and Lorraine worked together for months to find a ring that reflected Julianne's grace and elegance. It's very clean, very elegant, very beautiful and the diamond is the highest quality. It just shines gorgeous."
Julianne announced her engagement to her boyfriend of almost two years earlier this month, saying she was "overwhelmed with joy". The 27-year-old shared a picture of herself embracing her future husband and looking down at her engagement ring on Instagram, writing: "We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love."
The professional dancer, who previously dated Ryan Seacrest, met her fiancé through mutual friend Teddy Sears. Julianne and Teddy both starred in Curve, a thriller set for release in 2016.
