Liberty Ross and film producer Jimmy lovine are engaged. A representative for the English model confirmed the news to various American publications including Us Weekly over the weekend.

Liberty, 36, and Jimmy, 62, were first linked in February 2013 after they were spotted spending a lot of time together.

The actress had just filed for divorce from her estranged husband Rupert Sanders – the director who had a brief affair with Kristen Stewart in the summer of 2012.

Rupert, 44, and Kristen, 25, were pictured sharing a passionate kiss while taking a break from filming Snow White and the Huntsman, which Rupert directed and saw Kristen star as the female protagonist. Liberty also featured in the movie, playing the role of Queen Eleanor, Kristen's on-screen mother.

After the affair was made public, Rupert and Liberty, who have two children together, split. Their divorce was finalised in May 2014.

"It was horrible. It was really the worst, really the worst," the English Rose told Vanity Fair at the time of the scandal. "I have no words to describe what we went through."

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Liberty was awarded millions in the divorce settlement. She was given the family house in Los Angeles as well as two other properties in London, £8,300 a month in spousal support for four years, £14,700 a month in child support for her son and daughter and 15 per cent of Rupert's profits from movies.

The brunette beauty has since found love again with record producer Jimmy, who was previously married to American model Vicki. The pair split in 2009.

Last year Liberty, who was with her ex-husband Liberty since her teenage years, also spoke of the need to forgive.

"It's amazing what two years does," she said. "Today, I feel happier than I've ever felt, and I'm in such a great place. All of us are: my kids are great, Rupert's amazing, we have all moved on and everyone is doing really well."

"People need to learn to forgive," she added. "I have no problem with anyone involved. I'm completely compassionate, I really am. No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it's good to be true to who you are."
