Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green share throwback wedding photos after rapper admits to marriage counselling

September 10, 2015

It's been two years to the day since Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green said "I do" in a fairytale wedding. And to celebrate, the couple have posted throwback photos on Instagram of their special day.

Their anniversary comes just a few days after Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, admitted that he and Millie, 26, have attended marriage counselling sessions.

Having worked through their problems, the couple reminisced on their beautiful September wedding on Thursday and shared never-before-seen snaps from their nuptials.

"2 years today @camillamackintosh," Professor Green, 31, captioned a photo of the newlyweds kissing.

Former Made in Chelsea star Millie referenced Shakespeare in her post and shared a picture of the couple walking in the leafy grounds of Babington House in Somerset, where they tied the knot. "'With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come' happy 2 year wedding anniversary @professorgreen," she wrote.

The stunning image showed Millie wearing a vintage lace wedding dress that featured a flowing train, a V back and a matching veil. Professor Green, meanwhile, looked dapper in a blue suit.

"We go out for dinner, we drink nice wine, we have good chat and enjoy each other's company," said the rapper

Earlier this year the couple were said to have hit a rough patch, and were surrounded by rumours of a marriage breakdown. Addressing the claims, the Lullaby rapper said that he and Millie had been seeing top therapist Dr Linda Papadopoulos to help talk through their problems.

"Sometimes it's easier to understand things when they come from the person who is completely removed from the situation," Professor Green told The Sun. "It's one of the most constructive things I do in my life."

The songwriter added that he and Millie were pushed to the limit when they went on a detox break to Jamaica.

"We were at each other's throats. We thought we hated each other," said the star. "Then we ate normally and had a glass of wine and it was fine."

"We're good, man," Professor Green added. "We go out for dinner, we drink nice wine, we have good chat and enjoy each other's company."
