Mary-Kate Olsen has tied the knot with her French boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy in New York, according to Page Six. The couple, who have been dating for three years now, are believed to have married in an intimate ceremony in Manhattan on Friday night. They then celebrated with 50 guests at a reception held in a private residence, where invitees were served cocktails in a rear garden before dining together inside. It's unsurprising that most of the wedding details have been kept under wraps; the couple are notoriously private, and are believed to have asked guests to hand in their mobile phones upon arrival.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy reportedly married in New York on Friday
Mary-Kate, 29, and 46-year-old Olivier have been engaged since March 2014, when Olivier – the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy – popped the question with a four-carat vintage Cartier diamond ring during a romantic holiday in Jamaica.Speaking about their wedding plans this year, the former child star revealed she was thinking about designing her own dress. "I'm like not even there yet," she admitted to Women's Wear Daily in May. "I think it may be a matter of getting five or six or making two or three and being stressed out. That seems kind of far away. We'll take one step at a time."

Olivier – who shares a $6.25million townhouse in Manhattan with Mary-Kate – was previously married to Charlotte Bernard; the couple were married for 14 years before their split in 2010, and have two children together, Julien, 13, and 11-year-old Margo. Both the children, and their mother were said to have approved of the couple's engagement. "Mary-Kate asks her permission about things that concern the kids," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "So Charlotte loves her!"The fashionista has made an equally good impression on Olivier's friends. "Olivier's friends understand what he sees in her," a source revealed last week. "Mary-Kate is funny and sweet."
