One week after marrying the love of her life Charlie Thomson, Alex Jones is floating on cloud nine. The Welsh beauty may have returned to work to co-present The One Show on Wednesday night, but the new Mrs showed no signs of the January blues.
Alex, whose wedding photos will be exclusively unveiled in HELLO! magazine next week, thanked her fans for their support, and reflected on her new marital status.
"Thank you so much for your messages of congratulations. I am one happy Mrs," she wrote on Twitter.

Shortly before, Alex was pictured greeting fans outside the BBC studios and showing them her new piece of jewellery. The gorgeous star nailed casual chic in a red skirt and black-and-white stripy top that clung to her trim figure.
Alex was happy to dish the details on her wedding, telling her co-host Matt Baker, who attended the New Year's celebration, that married life felt "so different".

"But we are on cloud nine at the moment," she said. "It's absolutely fantastic."
"I relive it all every minute of every day so far," she added. "The ceremony for me was so lovely. And it was just so nice to have all of our friends and family – and yourself of course, Matt – together on New Year's Eve."

Alex and her insurance broker partner Charlie, who hails from New Zealand, tied the knot on 31 December 2015 at Cardiff Castle.
Their engagement was announced live on air in February during an episode of The One Show, during which Alex debuted her sparkly new diamond ring, estimated to cost £30,000.
