The One Show presenter Alex Jones has revealed her wedding photos in an exclusive with HELLO! magazine.The Welsh bride married New Zealander Charlie Thomson in a magical ceremony at Cardiff Castle on New Year's Eve. "It was spectacular," Alex, who wore a beautiful Sassi Holford gown on the big day told HELLO!. "Everyone says it's the best day of your life and it just exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed every single second.

"I'd told myself not to let it pass in a blur, because it really is quite overwhelming and nerve-racking. But I really did love it, seeing all my friends' faces. And then once I held hands with Charlie, I thought, 'We're right.'"Insurance broker Charlie told HELLO! how his first glimpse of his bride walking down the aisle – in front of guests including Alex's One Show co-stars Matt Baker – took his breath away. "Alex looked absolutely stunning," he said. "I couldn't stop smiling. "The couple spoke in both English and Welsh during the ceremony, and both injected a personal touch into their vows.Charlie promised to "stand by you, whatever the future holds, to cherish and care for you and always be there for you when you need my support," before adding: "I promise not to take too long in the shower and to be on time. "Alex's vows included the lines: "I promise to try to develop patience and to embrace the outdoors and all it has to offer, including camping."
The couple later held a reception in the castle's 18th century library and dining room before moving into the Banqueting Hall for the wedding breakfast and then finishing the night with a party in the castle's Interpretation Centre.
Entertainment was provided by a jazz band and a 1980s group, with guests partying until the early hours. "I know you can only get married once, but I loved the wedding so much I would do it every year," says Alex. "But we'll probably do a New Year's Eve party from now on.
