Matthew, the son of former Labour minister Tessa Jowell, dressed for the tropical climate in a light shirt and suit trousers, while Ella wowed in the lace Jenny Packham Marina gown and a veil. The 24-year-old wore her brunette hair down and accessorised with drop earrings and natural make-up.

Ella shared the wedding photo on Instagram on Monday morning, adding the caption: "Best day ever!"

The bride was soon inundated with congratulatory messages from fans, with many commenting on what a "beautiful couple" she and Matthew make.

The pair were introduced by Ella's father Shaun Woodward

The popular blogger also shared a photo of a new pair of trainers she had received customised with her marital name, Mrs Mills. "We did it!" Ella wrote.

Ella and Matthew met after being introduced by her father, a former Tory MP Shaun Woodward. They have since said they moved in together almost straight away and talked of marriage after a week, as they talked about their wedding plans in an interview with Evening Standard's ES Magazine.

"We've invited ten friends and their partners each. We couldn't do more because we want to keep it small," Ella said.

Guests dined on food that fulfils Ella's healthy eating ethos. She explained: "We'll do what we always do, a mix of the two: fish, potatoes, and big informal platters for sharing rather than plates for each person. It wouldn't be fair on Matt to say, OK, guys, we're doing a wheat-free vegetarian wedding – woohoo!"

The couple's wedding comes just months after they embarked on another venture together, opening their business The Mae Deli in London.
