"I loved working on this with Ciara, and all her girls," Peter, who also designed the bridesmaids' gowns, told PeopleStyle. "It was a pleasure to be a part of her special day with Russell. Every girl's individual style is implemented in the design of their dress as well as their personality. Ciara made sure of that."
With bridesmaids including Kelly Roland, LaLa Anthony, Yolonda Frederick and Russell's sister Anna all wowing in elegant floor-length black gowns, Peter explained why Ciara chose the colour scheme.
"I think Ciara chose black as a bridesmaid colour because every woman feels confident in black," he said. "You can't go wrong."
