She's the daughter of a bridal gown impresario so you'd expect nothing less of Gabriela Palatchi on her big day. The blushing bride was a vision when she married Turkish businessman Ediz Elhadef in the spectacular setting of the Spanish Pyrenees in July.
Gabriela, who is the eldest child of Pronovias president Alberto Palatchi, naturally turned to her father's business to make her bespoke fairytale wedding dress.

The gown was designed by Pronovias' creative director Hervé Moreau and inspired by an enchanted-forest theme. It was made of silk tulle and chiffon in off-white and ecru, decorated with delicate Japanese-inspired motifs of dragonflies, bees, birds and butterflies.

The slender off-the-shoulder dress with draped tulle sleeves also boasted a dramatic eight-foot train, complemented by a show-stopping 11ft veil that sashayed behind Gabriela as she walked down the aisle.
It took the dedication and skill of six people and 400 hours of work at Pronovias' Barcelona atelier to create the unique gown.

The bride and groom said "I do" as the sun was setting at the Palatchi family's estate in Puigcerda, in Girona, northern Spain. They exchanged their vows in front of a dainty floral canopy, with more than 400 guests in attendance.
After bring pronounced man and wife, Gabriela and Ediz were showered with white petals as Elvis Presley's The Wonder of You filled the air.

The reception was held in a marquee adorned with thousands of pink, red, violet and yellow blooms.
Gabriela and Ediz broke with tradition by doing their first dance before sitting down to dinner, a move that got the party off to a great start.

Guests were then treated to a menu featuring crab and avocado cannelloni, and wild rice with glazed truffle.
To cut the impressive four-tiered wedding cake, Gabriella changed into her second Pronovias creation of the night – again with a slim silhouette but this time backless and long sleeved.
