And the bride wore... pink! Lydia Hearst said "I do" to her actor fiancé Chris Hardwick over the weekend, choosing to wow in a bespoke fuchsia and white wedding dress by Christian Siriano.
The publishing heiress of Hearst Magazines opted for the non-traditional route, in keeping with the couple's style, and pulled off the glittering, long-sleeved and sheer tulle gown with elegance.
Chris, who looked dapper in a Prada tuxedo, shared a sweet photo of the newlyweds on Instagram, revealing that their day was filled with references to their shared love of science fiction.

He added: "We were also surrounded by the most wonderful collection of good humans and it was an honour to share this day with them."

The couple's love for science fiction was incorporated into the big day
The couple's florist even drew inspiration from their favourite sci-fi and comic book series, incorporating red roses, Tardis blue hydrangea and Vanda orchids into the big day. Their celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss also had water bottles designed with their initials in the shape of a Tardis.
People reports that Lydia, 31, and Chris, 44, married on Saturday in front of around 450 guests in Pasadena, California. Guests sat down for a four-course meal that included Thai spiced prawns, arugula salad, Chilean sea bass and beef fillet, topped off with the wedding cake.

Last week Lydia couldn't contain her excitement as she shared a black-and-white photo of her wedding dress from the back. She wrote to her future husband: "I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick. I love you, and I will never stop loving you. I cannot wait to marry you in one week."
It comes after she posted a similar photo of Chris at his tuxedo fitting, standing with his back to the camera. "You are the best thing that has happened to this world, in my eyes. You are truly one of a kind @Hardwick. In exactly one month from now, I will be walking down the aisle, and we will be husband and wife," she wrote.
