Amanda Seyfried has married partner Thomas Sadoski, it has been announced. The Hollywood star, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, tied the knot in secret last Sunday - just six months after confirming their engagement. During an appearance on The Late Late Show on Thursday, Thomas shared the exciting news, referring to the Mean Girls actress as his "wife". He told chat show host James Corden: "We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing."

Thomas, who popped the question in September after a whirlwind six month romance, described their elopement as "perfect" as he revealed their pet dog was the only witness. "Listen, she's the person I love, admire, respect most in the world," he added. Amanda, 31, and Thomas, 40, first met while working together on the off-Broadway show The Way We Get By in 2015. After reuniting on the US drama movie The Last Word, the couple went public with their romance in March. This is first marriage for expectant mother Amanda, and the second for Life in Pieces actor Thomas, who was married for eight years until the summer of 2015.

The actress has previously dated stars including Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper and Justin Long. Two years ago, Amanda opened up about her desire to have children. In an interview with Marie Claire UK, the star joked that she needed to "get on it". She confessed: "I feel like my eggs are dying off. I need to get on it… I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years. I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything… so how can you ever be ready for that?!"
