Paul Burrell has tied the knot with his partner Graham Cooper. The couple wed in a ceremony in the Lake District on Sunday, surrounded by their family and friends. According to the Daily Mail, the former royal butler said afterwards: "Everything about the day has been perfect, made even more wonderful by the fact that my two sons were here to share the occasion. There's no more hiding my unbridled happiness now. Life is about being true to who you are and, for the first time ever, I'm able to stand proudly beside my husband and say, 'This is who I am.'"

For their special day, Paul and Graham both wore matching tartan outfits, while 58-year-old Paul also included a pair of blue cufflinks given to him by Princess Diana, and his Royal Victorian Medal, which he was presented by the Queen in 1998 for his service to the late royal.
The marriage comes less than one month after Paul confirmed for the first time that he was in a same-sex relationship. He was previously married for 32 years to wife Maria, with whom he has grown-up sons Alexander and Nicholas. The couple divorced last year, although they had been separated for some time.

Speaking to This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Paul said: "I still love my wife and I love my boys – they are the best thing that ever happened to me in my lifetime… And to sit with them and talk to them about my sexuality and to cry with them and say 'This is your dad'. I said, 'I'm not going to change. I'll always be here for you'… And I said that to my wife. I said, 'I am your best friend, I'll always look out for you.'"
