Congratulations to Lynda Bellingham's son Robert Peluso and his fiancée Savannah Brown! The couple have tied the knot in a romantic wedding in New York. Robert, who was the late star's younger son, has shared a photo of his big day on Facebook. The snap showed the groom embracing his beautiful bride and kissing her as they stand on a street in the Big Apple. Robert's brother Michael, who acted as best man, also tweeted a photo of the couple surrounded by Savannah's bridesmaids.

The wedding and reception were held at the Player's Club near New York's Gramercy Park, the Mail Online reports, where jazz club entertainer Savannah and her bridesmaids performed a special dance for their guests. The couple are said to have honeymooned in the Caribbean.

Lynda, who sadly passed away in October 2014 from cancer, shared her two sons Michael and Robert with her second husband Nunzio Peluso. Noticeably absent from the wedding was Lynda's third husband and widower Michael Pattemore, who has been in a dispute with his stepsons over the division of Lynda's estates. The actress, best known for her Oxo adverts, left everything to the 62-year-old property developer. He has reportedly only given a small sum to his stepsons.

The bride and groom got engaged in October

The family rift deepened when Michael and Robert appeared on This Morning, claiming they did not contest their mother's will, but said they believed Lynda trusted her husband to ensure her sons would be adequately provided for. "Our stepfather always says he's close to us, but that's not the case," the brothers said. Michael added: "When we first met him, we didn't initially trust him and we felt she could do better. But what sons aren't going to think that initially? We were going out more, we had our own girlfriends. Why should our dear mother who has been on her own for 10 years not deserve to be happy? We never stopped thinking that. But you're torn. Do you trust your instinct or do you go, 'No but she's happy'."
