Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed just reminded us how much of a cute couple they are. The lovebirds celebrated their second wedding anniversary by sharing some gorgeous throwback photos of their big day, accompanied with heartwarming tributes. Taking to Instagram, Ian, 38, uploaded a snap of himself and Nikki embracing at their wedding reception. "To the most amazing human in the world," the Vampire Diaries star wrote. "Thank you for 2 incredible years of marriage. Today, two years ago to the minute, we said "I do" and I couldn't be happier or more grateful to you for this life.

Nikki shared a photo on Instagram to mark her second anniversary
The day before their wedding anniversary, Nikki and Ian spent time at a recording studio where they listened to a recording of one of the actress' songs. Ian surprised his wife at the studio and later wrote on Instagram: "There truly is NO better way to ring in our wedding anniversary than in this studio together listening to this beautiful voice sing these beautiful words. When the clock strikes in less than 1hr its two years married my beautiful love. I can only hope for a million more to come..."
Nikki and Ian married in April 2015 in Malibu, California, after dating for one year. The Twilight actress had just had her divorce to singer Paul McDonald finalised three months before. Ian has previously said he would love to have children with his wife, telling Entertainment Tonight: "Oh, hell yes! Absolutely. You know, it's all about practice… It's not practice makes perfect – it's perfect practice."
