Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have pulled out all the stops to ensure every detail of their wedding day is perfect, but if you don't quite have a budget to match the royals, you're going to LOVE the new Wedding Essentials range that is launching at Aldi in May. The budget supermarket is releasing a limited edition line to coincide with the royal wedding on 19 May – and prices start from as little as 89p.

Brides on a budget will be able to stock up on items for all stages of wedding planning, including an organiser (£4.99) to help them perfect every detail of their big day. And while Prince Harry and Meghan opted for elegant invitations from Barnard and Westwood for their wedding, you'll find much more affordable invites and save the dates in Aldi's wedding invite bundle, which is a steal at £12.99.

If you want to add some DIY elements to your special day, there are also premium craft kits available which will help you to master the art of calligraphy just like Meghan (who used her own impressive calligraphy skills to write the invites for Robin Thicke's wedding to ex-wife Paula Paton), and learn how to make your own wedding bunting or garters. Alternatively, you can find ready-made decorations including balloons, pom poms and fairy lights from £2.99 – ideal for adding the special finishing touches to your venue.

The range will be available to pre-order online from Sunday 13 May and launches in stores from Thursday 17 May, just two days before the royal wedding. However, shoppers will have to get in quick as the limited edition pieces won't be around for long.

Aldi is not the only retailer who has taken inspiration from Prince Harry and Meghan to launch a special wedding collection. Sainsbury's released a range of stylish wedding buys such as a guest book, table decorations and lighting, while Primark launched a collection wedding and hen do paraphernalia such as a wedding cake topper (£5) and Mr and Mrs embroidered wedding towels (£7).
