We've seen a lot of wedding food trends over the years – from cakes made out of tiered cupcakes to late-night pizza and fried chicken vans, the munch being served on the big day of often just as big a deal as the bride's dress. And we're absolutely loving the latest craze that we're seeing all over Instagram and Pinterest: donut walls. Yep, you read that right. The latest craze is to have a wall covered in hooks, which donuts can be hung on and picked up by your guests.

As well as looking awesome – and making a brilliant backdrop for your dessert table or wedding cake – they're also relatively easy to knock up yourself with a few hardware supplies. And they can also be fully customised depending on your wedding theme and colour scheme. And you can expect to start seeing a lot more of them – ebay.co.uk reported that it had seen over 400 searches for the term in just one month, and there are also almost 40,000 posts under the hashtag #donutwall on Instagram.
