Social media superstar Chiara Ferragni, aka fashion blogger The Blonde Salad, wed rapper Fedez at the week, and the bash was every bit as Instagram drool-worthy as you'd expect, from the incredible botanical backdrop to the six bridesmaids' matching pink sugarplum-fairy-style gowns. But the star of the event had to be Chiara's double-whammy Dior dresses – one traditional pure-white creation for the ceremony, and an edgier, embroidered cream frock for the reception. And if you look closely at the 31-year-old's second dress, you'll notice some sweet details that are easy to overlook at first glance.
The stunning haute couture dress was created by Dior
The bespoke tulle gown, created specially by Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior, had the couple's love story stitched on to it along with some of Fedez's lyrics. The fashion house posted a picture of the beautiful dress on its Instagram page, along with the caption: "From an eye to a small lion, representing their son Leone, along with the lyrics of the song 'Favorisca I Sentimenti' written by Fedez, these delicate embroideries symbolically and romantically recount key moments in the young couple's life."
For the couple's Coachella-themed afterparty, Chiara magically swapped the full skirt for a mini tulle ballerina-style one to make throwing some shapes just a little bit easier. Earlier in the day, she went for a classic look, also by Dior, featuring an A-line maxi skirt, lace bodice and long veil.
Chiara was one of the very first successful fashion bloggers, her unique outfit of the day posts and her eclectic styling earning her a reputation as the modern-day Carrie Bradshaw. She is now one of the most significant fashion influencers in the world and even has a hugely successful shoe line. Her grand wedding is the latest in a long line of achievements for the mum-of-one this year. Earlier in 2018 she was announced as one of the faces of Intimissimi lingerie, alongside supermodel Giselle Bundchen.
