Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip married on 20 November 1947, in a spectacular ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London. The Queen was the 10th member of The Royal Family to be married at this iconic venue. Her Majesty wore a wedding dress designed by Sir Norman Hartnell, and the diamond fringe tiara.
