Angela Bassett has given fans a rare glimpse into her 25-year marriage with Courtney B. Vance as the pair celebrated the milestone anniversary with friends and family.

The acting legends married in 1997 and to honor the special celebration they hosted a party with Angela's 9-1-1 co-stars including Aisha Hinds, Oliver Stark and Ryan Guzman.

Angela shared a video with fans from inside her home where guests danced the night away, and that their two children gave an emotional speech.
At one point, as Angela thanked their guests for being there Courtney sarcastically quipped "and she didn't have nothing to say!" giving rare insight into their loving dynamic.

"25 years… When we first got married, we couldn’t wait to say we made it to 10 years! Now look at how far we’ve come!" Angela captioned the post.
"As Frankie says, 'Joy and pain are like sunshine and rain…' Whew! He sure was right! We’ve had ups, we’ve had downs; we gained two amazing children; but lost cherished family members and friends."
Angela shared this incredible video with fans
She continued: "We’ve had successes, we’ve had failures; we’ve had spectacular wins, we’ve had devastating losses. But through it all there’s been one, beautiful constant: We’ve always had each other! Thank you God for each and everyone one of these 25 years! We can’t wait to do 25 more! 10/12/1997."
Aisha was joined by her husband Silky Valente for the occasion, with the actress swearing a billowing blck dress with a bardot neckline.

Ryan wore a black turtleneck with a smart suit and was joined by his wife Chrysti Ane, who wore a slinky red bodycon dress with platform heels.
Angela is currently starring in 9-1-1 as Sergeant Athena Grant but will next be seen on the big screen in the much anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
