Lady Amelia Spencer was every inch the beautiful bride for her picturesque wedding with her long-term partner Greg Mallett, whom she met when she was just 17.
Amelia – the niece of the late Princess Diana – married the fitness and nutrition coach on 21 March at Quoin Rock Manor House on a mountaintop in the winelands of South Africa’s Western Cape. Among the 122 guests were Amelia's glamorous mother Victoria Lockwood, older sister Lady Kitty, twin sister Lady Eliza, and younger brother Samuel, who had a very special role.

Amelia got married at sunset, which offered her plenty of time to get ready with her bridesmaids, which included her sisters Lady Eliza and Lady Kitty, future sister-in-law Fiona, and friends Alexia Tomazos, Leila Gordon, Jacinta Spencer, Zora Van Ginkel and Lexi Ryman. She wore white silk pyjamas with a feather trim, while her friends rocked pink versions as they prepared their hair and makeup.
Ahead of the ceremony, they changed into oyster grey satin Atelier Versace gowns. Maid of honour Eliza wore a pink version with a strappy back and a leg split, and Kitty opted for a Grecian one-shouldered blue Dolce & Gabbana dress.
The bride walked down the aisle accompanied by her brother Samuel Aitken and told HELLO!: "He’s the other love of my life, so it made so much sense that it was Samuel who walked me down the aisle. He was born when I was 11 and we have a very, very special relationship.
"He even said in his speech at the wedding that up until the age of seven, he believed I was his 'other mum'", added Amelia.
It was the first time that her groom caught sight of her custom Versace bridal gown, and the moment even reduced him to "happy tears"! He sweetly shared: "I’ve been waiting 14 years to see Amelia walk down the aisle. To be married is a dream come true."
Waiting under the white rose arch, Greg looked dapper in a custom black Atelier Versace fine wool and mohair wedding suit and a Charles Greig watch, but all eyes were on the bride as she arrived against the backdrop of the mountains…
Crafted over two and a half months, Amelia's gown featured a two-and-a-half metre train, Swarovski crystals, a hand-embroidered neckline and structured shoulders, with intricate flower patterns running throughout.
She added an elegant five-metre-long veil made out of fine silk tulle, with which she experienced a poignant moment involving a white feather, and Jimmy Choo heels.
Recalling her emotional dress fitting with her sisters, Amelia said: "My eyes filled up [with tears], so did my sisters’. When I put it on, I was just so happy and grateful that it was my dream dress, I didn't change one thing. It fit like a glove."
Amelia explained her dress also had a special link to her late aunt Diana, who was a close friend of Gianni Versace and a wearer of his designs. "I think she would be very proud to see me on my wedding day. I know the Versace family also absolutely love Diana, so there’s a very special connection that we have," she said.
She wore her hair in a sleek bun finished with embellished accessories, while her sisters both chose to keep their blonde hair down in glamorous waves.
Meanwhile, former model and mother of the bride Victoria, 57, was pictured in a silky sleeveless gown in a rich teal colour, complete with a ruched neckline and a fluted midi skirt that showed off her bronzed glow.
Victoria described the ceremony as "moving" and told HELLO!: "I’ve never seen my daughter look more beautiful or more truly happy. They could not love each other more."
During the ceremony, which was officiated by Greg's father Dave, they exchanged rings engraved with the symbols of Table Mountain and a half moon. They were designed with Charles Greig Jewellers, who was also responsible for making Amelia's diamond halo engagement ring ahead of Greg's proposal in July 2020 at Clouds Estate in South Africa.
The newlyweds and their guests relocated to the rear lawn for dinner, where they took their seats inside a bespoke glass marquee decorated with white roses and twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling.
They dined on an Italian menu consisting of rigatoni pomodoro followed by steak tagliata, linefish with roasted garlic and champagne velouté, or griddled aubergine tagliata for mains – all put together by chef Ollie Swart and his team at Annalize Catering.
Amelia and Greg cut their two-tiered rustic wedding cake made by Sweet LionHeart, which was adorned with white roses and flavoured with salted caramel.
Amelia later hit the dancefloor with her new husband for the afterparty, which saw her change into her second bridal gown by Pronovias. It featured puff shoulders, a sweetheart neckline and a mini skirt - beautiful!
