Princess Kate and her sister Pippa Middleton were spotted in adorable matching bridesmaid dresses at their uncle Gary Goldsmith's wedding back in 1991, but the unearthed pictures have left fans divided.
The Princess of Wales, then nine, looked proud as she fulfilled her special wedding role, which was caught on camera in a sweet home video.
She smiled and waved for the cameras dressed in a pastel pink dress with puff sleeves and accessorised her brunette bob and short block fringe with a white floral headpiece. Her younger sister looked slightly less impressed as she frowned and waved around her circle bouquet before they both posed next to bride Miranda Foote outside St Peter's Church in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. Take a look in the video below...
Royal fans have since compared the throwback images of Kate to her daughter Princess Charlotte, who was an adorable bridesmaid at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2018 wedding. While the three-year-old was much younger than her mother in the photos, she sported a similar white dress, bob and floral headdress.
However, the comments section of the comparison photos – which were shared by fan account @katemiddletonprincessofwales – was filled with people pointing out different resemblances.

"Charlotte sure looks like her Mum, both beautiful," commented one, while another disagreed, writing: "Princess Charlotte looks identical to the late Queen Elizabeth II.. in my opinion. She doesn’t look like her mum."
A third weighed in: "Louis looks like Catherine. Charlotte looks like William," and a fourth added: "Prince Louis is identical to kate when she was a child."
Page boy James, meanwhile, cheekily chews on his top hat while the family pose for photos with the newlyweds.
Kate went on to meet Prince William while they were both studying at St Andrews University and they got married at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011. She looked gorgeous in a lace Alexander McQueen wedding dress with the designer's signature corset and full skirt.
Just like most royals, the bride chose to be accompanied by several young bridesmaids dressed in white, including Lady Louise Windsor and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, alongside her sister Pippa who wore a figure-hugging cowl neck gown.
