Samantha Faiers was enjoying a holiday with her long-term partner Paul Knightley when fans spotted a huge rock on her left hand.
The former TOWIE star posted a mirror selfie on Instagram and tagged Milos Dubai. Sam looked stunning in a House of CB floral midi dress, complete with a feminine pink and orange floral pattern, an underwired corset top with a sweetheart neckline and a tiered skirt. She paired the £149 dress with a tan quilted bag, a beaded necklace and strappy heels, but fans were fixated on another new accessory.
As she held her phone for the lift picture, Sam showed off a sparkling diamond on her fourth finger, but fans couldn't work out whether the cryptic post was an engagement announcement.
"That’s my best friend," she simply wrote in the caption, and many took that as confirmation of Paul's proposal.

"Omg has Paul finally proposed," asked one, and another similarly said: "Is that an engagement ring I see?!" However, others were confused about the mirror image and wondered whether it was her left or right hand.
"Omg not going to lie just been checking in the mirror," remarked a third follower, while a fourth said: "It’s the wrong hand I think because of the reflection in the mirror. Hopefully I’m wrong xx."
Sam and Paul's love story began in 2014, and over the last nine years, they have welcomed three children: Paul Jr, seven, Rosie, five, and Edward, ten months.
The couple have sparked engagement rumours on several occasions, with Paul even hinting their relationship only strengthened amid the coronavirus lockdown. He said on The Mummy Diaries: "I didn't think we could get closer, but we did and I think we’re one step closer to getting married."
However, Sam made it clear she was waiting for Paul to pop the question. When fans asked on The Sam and Billie Show, "Would Sam ever propose?" she said: "No! No, the guy should do it and I will leave it as that."
