While Jamie Oliver emulated his first groom's outfit for his vow renewal in the Maldives, his wife Jools chose a very different gown for the beachside ceremony.
The mother-of-five married the celebrity chef on 24 June 2000 at All Saints Church in Rickling, Essex, after dating for eight years. Jools opted for a strapless column wedding dress by Neil Cunningham and accessorised with a lace veil and ivory Kimmy Choo court shoes.
For their tenth wedding anniversary, Jools once again slipped on a bridal gown. One throwback photo showed Jamie and Jools on the dance floor with their friends and family, with Jools wearing a floor-length strapless ivory satin gown with a full skirt that skimmed over her baby bump and an embellished bodice.
However, the couple's vow renewal with their kids saw the beautiful bride opt for a more relaxed, romantic silhouette, with ruffle off-the-shoulder sleeves and a front split that showed off her bronzed legs.
FIND OUT: Why Jamie Oliver renewed vows with wife Jools after 23-year marriage
Instead of wearing her hair loose around her shoulders, as she did on the previous two occasions, the 48-year-old styled it into a half-up do secured with a tulle bow – ideal for keeping strands out of her eyes on the windy beach.
She was pictured walking down the aisle to Jamie, who opted for the pale blue Paul Smith suit he wore to his 2000 wedding. He swapped the pink shirt for a classic white one, and ditched the snake-skin brogues for bare feet in the sand.
Sharing a selection of family photos on Instagram, Jools wrote: "So wonderful the first time we did it again. What an incredible memory to treasure so happy, emotional, romantic and beautiful. Seeing the children’s little faces made the whole experience so special."
Jamie also shared his own message that read: "Yep After 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate renewing our wedding vows before the kids all start leaving the nest. It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together."
While Matt Baker was among the first to comment on Jamie's outfit, writing: "Brilliant! - lots of love to all - nice throwback with the suit X," others such as Zoe Ball showered them both in compliments: "Ahhh you beautiful beautiful bunch. All the love to you."
