Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom spared no expense when it came to their two weddings in the US and the UK, with the celebrations reportedly costing the couple around £1million.
So I'm a Celebrity viewers may be surprised to hear Amir's confession that he regrets his nuptials, which saw the couple celebrate with over 4,000 guests. During his appearance on the South African reality TV show, the boxer told his campmates that it was "like a massive gala" and he "didn't enjoy" the huge event. See exclusive photos in the video below...
"Family, friends — everyone likes to be there. If you call one family member, they want to bring their auntie, uncle, cousin, sister," he said on the ITV show. "'The ice-cream van man got an invitation as well!" He continued: " was not in charge of the invitations. I didn’t get to enjoy it, to be honest with you.
"There were that many people there. It was a like a massive gala, like a big event. That’s why now, if I was ever to do it again, it would be me and the wife, and keep it really simple."

Amir and Faryal exchanged vows at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, New York back in 2013. Among the 400 guests were Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, and David Haye, but that was the smaller of the two celebrations.
The couple had a second wedding in Bolton in the UK with a whopping 4,000 guests. They went on to welcome daughters Lamaisah, eight, Alayna, five, and son, Muhammad, three, and they split briefly in 2017 before rekindling their relationship.
Faryal has similarly admitted she would want a much more intimate wedding if they ever renewed their vows. "I wish I could change everything about my wedding," Faryal said on the couple's reality show Meet the Khans: Big In Bolton.
Referring to her ornate red New York outfit and heavily beaded white UK wedding dress, she added: "I'd changed the way I dressed because I'm more in fashion now and I'm definitely more confident to be who I am and be in front of the camera all the time."
On the possibility of renewing her vows, she said: "Maybe on my tenth anniversary...
"I think I would just do a beach wedding with a hundred people you know rather than four thousand people that you barely even know, and really enjoy it." 2023 marks the couple's tenth year of marriage, so watch this space!
