For two decades Dr Jennifer Ashton has been a regular face on TV and Good Morning America, reporting on health issues facing the nation and offering medical advice as a doctor.
After 13 years however,Dr Jennifer is stepping down from TV to focus on her new business and her marriage to Tom Werner, a TV producer and sports-related businessman whom she married in 2022.

Jennifer Ashton is married to Tom Werner, who, alongside his producing partner Marcy Casey, produced TV classics such as Roseanne and That '70s Show. Tom also worked alongside Marcy, broadcasting legend Oprah Winfrey, and others to launch the cable TV channel Oxygen in 2000.
He was entered into the Television Hall of Fame in California in 1996 .

Little is known about how Jennifer met her husband, however, it is believed that Tom and Jennifer met through a mutual friend, likely from within the television industry, and that their romance sparked following a first date at a restaurant in New York City.

As well as his work as a TV producer, he has invested in several sports teams.
In 2002, the New York-born sports fan invested in the Fenway Sports Group, becoming the chairman of the legendary baseball team the Boston Red Sox that same year. During his time as chairman, the Red Sox have seen much success, including winning four World Series titles following their 85-year long championship drought (which was broken in 2004).
Tom also became the chairman of the world-famous Liverpool Football Club in England in 2010, and again under his oversight the soccer team has seen much success including their 2022 FA Cup victory.

The GMA star announced her engagement to Tom on January 3, 2022 via an Instagram post which read: "I said YES! To Tom Werner," and was accompanied by a photo of the two smiling together.

Does Dr. Jennifer Ashton have any children with Tom Werner?
No, the medical expert has not had any children with Tom. However Jennifer does have two children, both of whom she had with ex-husband, fellow New York-based medic Rob Ashton.
Jennifer's lookalike daughter Chloe, 22, is a student at Tom's alma mater, Harvard University, and is also a successful ice hockey player. Chloe has a public Instagram account where she shares updates about her own life from time to time.
Son Alex, 24, also shares updates on his life via his own Instagram.
Tom, 73, was also married before, and shares three children, Edward, Carolyn and Amanda, with his ex-wife Jill Troy Werner.
