Sofia Richie married Elliot Grainge on Saturday, April 22, in a beautiful, star-studded ceremony at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France.
The daughter of Lionel Richie and son of Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group, were celebrated by their families, with friends such as Cameron Diaz and Paris Hilton also in attendance.
Instagram went wild, and the bride undoubtedly took centre stage across the long weekend, wearing a trio of exquisite dresses custom-made by Chanel.
For the main event, Sofia wore a bespoke floor-length gown inspired by a look from the spring/summer 2023 collection. Embellished with lace, it featured a criss-cross neckline and was embroidered with special touches in the lining, including heart designs, her husband’s initials, and the wedding date.
Writing on Instagram, she said: "I want to thank Virginie, Olivia, and all of my Chanel family for helping make my wedding dress so special. I felt like a princess, and I will forever be grateful for them and this experience. I always had this vision of the big princess dress and going big, but as I got older, I realised that I wanted something a bit more simple... Maybe ‘simple’ isn’t the right word because my dress definitely is not simple!"
