January Jones delighted fans on Wednesday with a sneak peek into her ultra-private personal life when she served up snapshots from a family wedding.
The X-Men star looked radiant in images posted to Instagram in which she appeared to be in the throes of celebrations.
January was dressed in a burgundy, velvet gown and was singing and laughing her heart out at her sister, Jina's recent nuptials.
Her caption read: "Going through my sister's wedding pics and realizing I was 'that girl'."
January then made a confession about her personal life when she added: "I blame this on not having had my main creative outlet for a while cause I haven’t touched booze in years. Ok fine, there’s no excuse," before she addressed her cute, cropped hairdo. "Also no excuse for the mullet."
Her Mad Men co-star, Christina Hendricks, was one of the first to like January's post before she was inundated with comments from fans and friends who wrote: "Wait, were you singing? And you’ve never looked more beautiful- pure JOY right there," while a second added: "Be that girl at my wedding any day," and many made reference to the similarities between January and her other sister, Jacey, who was singing alongside her.
© Getty ImagesSome fans made reference to January's decision to quit alcohol and added #soberlife and #sobriety'. It may come as a surprise to some fans as the Mad Men actress has been open about her drinking habits in the past, confessing that she loves "beer and sports".
"I like a Stella or a Peroni or something like that. Nothing too fancy," she told Bang Showbiz. In more recent years, however, she's been photographed sipping non-alcoholic beer in place of her old favorites.
© Getty ImagesJanuary was spotted picking up a dress for Jina's wedding in the summer and given the close bond between the siblings, the big day was likely to be a fun-filled affair.
Jina is an actress too and according to their wedding website on The Knot, she and her now-husband, Tyler King, married on September 24 in Larkspur, Colorado. It names January as co-maid of honor with Jacey.
© GettyJanuary didn't reveal if she had a date for the wedding, but her son, Xander, 12, would have been in attendance at the family affair.
She has shared relationships with many a famous face, including Ashton Kutcher, Jim Carrey and singer Josh Groban, but has remained tight-lipped about the identity of Xander's paternity, admitting her purpose in life as a single mom is to "provide stability" for her son.
