This Morning's first ever live wedding went off without a hitch when Annie and Gareth exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony onboard the HQS Wellington on the Thames – thanks to a little help from the This Morning family including Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Gok Wan.

The whole team brought their own personal expertise to the nuptials, which took place just a stone's throw from This Morning's London studios on the South Bank under beautiful, sunny skies.Fashion expert Gok Wan designed the wedding dress – "I love a wedding!" he enthuses - former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alison Hammond helped plan the first dance, TV chef Phil Vickery dished out advice on the wedding menu, and makeup artist Bryony Blake beautified the bride. In addition, HELLO! – famous for our celebrity and royal wedding coverage – sent along one of our top snappers to photograph the big day.

There was a very special guest at the wedding, too – Peter Andre. The singer surprised the couple by turning up to sing Fly Me To the Moon for their first dance. "I was gobsmacked!" enthused Annie, a longtime fan of the Mysterious Girl star. "Just to see him in the flesh is unreal. "Viewers were left emotional after witnessing the moving wedding. "They've only gone and done it. Our very first live wedding and what a beautiful couple - the new husband and wife!" enthused Holly, who, along with Phillip, whizzed over to the venue from the This Morning studio to surprise the newlyweds with a honeymoon to Provence.

"Sharing it with This Morning is even more special because it's thanks to This Morning that I'm sitting here today," Annie, who discovered she had breast cancer after watching a health item on the show, has previously said. She is now recovering well, and the couple, who were chosen after the show launched its This Morning Throws A Wedding campaign last year, are excited for their future together.

"This is just surreal, isn't it?" Gareth said to HELLO! after the ceremony. "What can you say? It was just so emotional."
