She may have been prepared for a life on the shelf in her film role, but now The Wedding Planner star Jennifer Lopez can look forward to directing her own big day, since it seems her dancer boyfriend Cris Judd has proposed.
It will be second time aropund for J.Lo, as she likes to be known. Her 1997 marriage to a Miami waiter, Ojani Noa, lasted just 18 months. She was more famously linked with rap star Sean "Puffy" Combs, who was reportedly heartbroken over their February split, having once said that even if it meant death he would "run in after her, to a burning building".
Jennifer, 30, and Cris, 31, met on the set of her video for Love Don't Cost A Thing, and appeared together publicly for the first time at the Oscars in March. The Bronx-born actress and singer saved her lover's life last month when he choked while dining out at an LA restaurant. Swift action by Jen dislodged the piece of bread stuck in Cris's windpipe and left the unnerved dancer gazing gratefully into her eyes. He was later heard to offer his saviour anything money could buy.
Then, he asked for her hand in marriage at a barbecue last week, taking her out next day to small and exclusive Rafinity jewellers in Santa Monica. The couple emerged with a diamond engagement ring inscribed with the letters JCJ, standing for Jennifer Cris Judd.
