Her agent would only answer the question with a blunt: “No comment.” But there is increasing evidence that Jennifer Lopez and her dancer boyfriend Cris Judd are officially engaged. The hot Latin star’s agency, ICM, is said to have organised an engagement party last Saturday, held at upmarket restaurant Morton’s, in Los Angeles.
Vince Vaughn, who co-starred with Jennifer in The Cell, attended the knees-up, and told fans outside the Melrose Avenue restaurant that the actress looked “beautiful as always.” Other guests included top photographer Herb Ritts, actress Kim Delaney, and Britain’s own Jude Law.
Some reports said that Jennifer, who has been married once before, to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa, decided to tie the knot with the shaven-headed choreographer after a pregnancy scare. The Bronx-born actress and singer, 31, is from a traditional Catholic family and has strong views about marriage and children – that they should happen to her in that order.
The calm reaction of her boyfriend, one year her senior, apparently convinced Jennifer that she had finally found Mr Right. “He was the voice of calm and reason,” said one source. “Cris told her that if she was pregnant it didn’t change anything for them, it just moved things up a little. He was incredibly romantic.”
