Jerry Hall’s ex-husband Mick Jagger is normally the one making headlines for his romantic entanglements. But as Jerry jetted off for a South African safari with new boyfriend Tim Attias on Saturday, it was the Graduate star who set tongues wagging.
Texas-born model Jerry, who recently split from film producer George Waud, has been spotted around London of late with 35-year-old Tim, a millionaire banker and noted playboy. Last week they returned from a brief Mustique holiday and later hosted a party at his £1.5 million Notting Hill home. On Wednesday the two dined at fashionable Nobu and friends says they are smitten.
“They are absolutely besotted with each other,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “It is all Tim can talk about. She has met all of his friends and is perfectly charming. They are seeing each other night and day. It’s a very intense fling.”
Sources say that the confirmed bachelor was never a one-woman man, but since meeting Jerry he has reportedly changed his ways. And while Tim, a banker for global firm ABM Amro, used to boast about his dalliances, he remains decidedly mum with the press on his romance with the 45-year-old actress. “I’m a simple man with simple tastes and I like my private life, so I am not going to give away any details which could confuse that,” he says.
Tim’s mother Wendy declined to comment as well. “Yes, I know about Jerry Hall,” she said. “He mentioned it some time ago. But I really can’t comment on it because I don’t think that Tim would want me to.”
Jerry and Rolling Stones front man Mick split after he fathered a child with Brazilian model Luciana Morad, however, the two remain close friends. Jerry later dated Waud, but she was said to have found the 33-year-old was “way, way, way too young” for her.
