When 13-year-old Becky Taylor gets home from school she feeds her guinea pig, hugs her dog and cat, chats to friends on the phone about her idols Robbie Williams and Atomic Kitten, and never misses Neighbours.

But in one area of her life she isn’t like most other girls. By the age of seven she was starring in the West End musical Les Miserables. Two years later she had won the British Arts Award final for her dancing in the musical The Secret Garden, and as a ten-year-old she made her TV singing debut on Blue Peter.

At 12, Becky had signed a “substantial” record deal and was touring America and Japan promoting her first album, A Dream Come True. Earlier this year she sang solo at the Royal Albert Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and today she can number Prince Charles among her fans.

As if that’s not enough, she recently released a specially written single, You Can Be A Hero, from the soundtrack to the animated film Second Star To The Left. Her debut album has also been re-released and she’s soon to start work on a second.
