Elizabeth Taylor will be one of 15 bridesmaids at Liza Minnelli’s wedding to David Gest next month, reports the New York Post. The Hollywood legend will share the role with fellow matrons of honour Martine McCutcheon and Marisa Berenson at the star-studded nuptials on March 16.

Pop phenomenon Michael Jackson will both give the bride away and act as best man, along with his brother Tito, while Mia Farrow, singer Chaka Khan, Petula Clark, and Italian actresses Gina Lollobrigida and Claudia Cardinale are among the celebrities scheduled to attend. Michael’s other brothers Jackie, Randy and Marlon, will be among the couple’s 15 “groomsmen”.

Guests who have reportedly been lined up to perform at the reception on New York’s Wall Street include Whitney Houston and Tony Bennett. Whitey is said to be performing a version of Here Comes The Bride at the wedding itself, which is due to be held at the city’s Marble Collegiate Church.

Also scheduled to perform at the 55-year-old star’s fourth wedding are Robert Goulet, Little Anthony and the Imperials and the Doobie Brothers, reports the newspaper.
