Thousands of pounds' worth of nursery furniture and baby outfits have been delivered to Elizabeth Hurley's London home – all in the tell-tale hue of blue, indicating that the model-turned-actress could be expecting a “mummy’s boy”.
The Daily Mail reports that with only a few days to go before the birth of Liz’s first child, 14 boxes of designer romper suits and accessories costing a total of £10,000 have been dropped off at her home. Among the items for baby Hurley are a blue gingham Moses basket with a blue bow, which costs more than £500, and blue Christian Dior suits which go for around £113.
Liz has splashed out on the best equipment money can buy from the exclusive London boutique Babylist, whose clients include TV presenters Emma Forbes and Julia Carling. The 36-year-old actress has also splurged on designer maternity wear and £350 cards for notifying friends of the birth.
The birth is expected to take place at St John and St Elizabeth Hospital in St John’s Wood, north London.
