PATERNITY DNA TEST ON LIZ HURLEY’S BABY TO TAKE PLACE SOON

The high-profile question of whether Steve Bing is the father of Elizabeth Hurley’s baby may about to be resolved. Liz has apparently agreed to DNA tests being carried out on her son Damian.

When news of her pregnancy was released Liz stated the American property tycoon and Hollywood producer was the father of her child. Steve was having none of it, however, and claimed that the couple had not been in an “exclusive” relationship at the time.

Speaking to Britain’s News Of The World, an insider said: “Initially Liz made no response, but under terms of Bing’s legal action she was obliged to respond by the end of May. She has now indicated to Bing and his lawyers that the test will go ahead.”

The news comes a fortnight after the American multi-millionaire announced he would go to the high court to force his former flame to allow the test.

Liz was reportedly outraged at her former lover’s insinuations. Now, with the test probably taking place before the end of the month and its results being available in ten days, the matter could be resolved by mid-June.

Under Californian law Steve would be liable to pay up to 30 per cent of his £1.5 million a year income in child support.
